Dr. Platon cold atmospheric plasma

Dr Platon is a professional aesthetic device, employing breakthrough plasma shower technology to apply cold atmospheric plasma to the skin surface. The non-thermal plasma is safe to the touch and non-ablative, as a result there is no pain and no downtime for patients.

With a very powerful cold plasma output, it employs plasma shower technology to transform the main gases in the air between the device tip and the patient’s skin (mainly Oxygen & Nitrogen) to non-thermal plasma, at a temperature of 35-40 °C.

• ACNE -  For acne and oily skin, plasma is extremely effective in destroying P. acne bacteria, quickly reducing skin inflammation, soothing the skin, and preventing acne reoccurrence by balancing sebum production.
• PROBLEMATIC & IRRITATED SKIN – Cold atmospheric plasma has an antioxidant impact on the skin’s immune system. It reduces the damaging effect of chronic skin diseases - such as atopic dermatitis, eczema, and seborrhoea - which manifests in inflamed, irritated, dehydrated, and rough skin.
• STERILIZATION – The electrical voltage between the freely charged particles in plasma (electrons and ions) accelerates the self-destruction mechanism of inflammatory  and damaged skin cells, and causes cellular division. It creates a "disinfection" process - the destruction of bacteria and fungi by breaking their molecular structure and raises the level of free intracellular oxygen.
• SKIN REGENERATION & ANTI-AGEING – Cold plasma therapy triggers the division of the basal cells to stimulate epidermal regeneration, boosts production of new collagen, stimulates the formation of new blood vessels and assist in healing wounds. It also strengthens skin immunity and the epidermal barrier and improves intercellular communication.
• DEPIGMENTING – The atomic oxygen in atmospheric plasma oxygenates the melanin in the epidermis, and is therefore effective in lightening epidermal brown spots (whether hormonal pigmentation, age spots, sun damage etc). This process is especially effective for hyperpigmentation under which an inflammatory process takes place. By reducing the inflammation, the plasma also reduces the level of haemoglobin around the spot, thus reduces blemish.
• BOOSTS ABSORBTION - Research shows that plasma increases epidermal permeability in the first 12 hours after treatment by ~24%, which helps to improve absorption of active ingredients.
